Sandy L. Jackson, Chair & Visionary
Cassandra (Sandy) Jackson is a 1994 graduate of Interdenominational Ministries International Bible College and Seminary in Vista, California, and a 2011 graduate of Northwestern State University of Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Sandy’s professional and religious background began in the United States Army where she managed multiple teams of criminal law personnel. She was also instrumental in helping soldiers discover salvation through Jesus Christ. In preparation for the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm), Sandy wrote and distributed many Bible study pamphlets to soldiers across the United States as tools of encouragement and strength throughout the war. Sandy served as an associate minister for more than 20 years, where she was a servant leader by providing oversight to the Single-Parenting and Singles ministries, the Assistant Pastor serving on community outreach and street ministries, feeding the hungry, and giving ministry service to Georgia prisons. Sandy serves as a public servant to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Buford, Georgia as an Administrative Department Team Leader.

Cassandra A. Robinson, Vice-Chair
Cassandra joined the Hodges Ward Elliott’s (HWE) accounting department in 1984, immediately after graduating from the University of West Georgia. She currently serves as Director of Corporate Human Resources and Accounting.
As a Human Resources and Accounting professional, with 30+ years of broad-based experience in both general and tax accounting, compensation, benefits, payroll, and investor auditing, her experience leading teams, identifying creative budget solutions, and implementing improved corporate processes has contributed to the outstanding support of HWE’s core business enterprises. Her strength in HR process analysis, equity pay management, and accounting regulatory compliance continues to add value and position HWE for future growth and expansion.
Cassandra enjoys health and fitness and holds a certification in fitness, personal training, and nutrition. She is an ordained minister who is active in her community where she supports various non-profit organizations and cultural associations.
Nirmala Fernandes, Secretary
Tanisha Edwards serves as the Secretary to the Board of Directors. Having more than 20 combined years in Office Administration and as a nonprofit volunteer, Tanisha is well-versed in nonprofit event coordination and community festival organization. Her strong passion for helping the underserved has skilled her with strong fundraising experience. Her experience with nonprofit organizations has also skilled her as a nonprofit treasurer.
Tanisha is currently employed as a Medical Records Assistant and Front Office Administrator for WellStar.
