Until such a time that we can locate, purchase or build the Exousia House of Georgia transitional house facility, we commit to helping Georgia homeless families by offering interim services. Those referred to ESFSG because they are a family on the brink of homelessness or are chronically homeless already will receive the following referral services:
- Services for those on the brink of Homelessness -Shelter location for you and your family
- Foreclosure or Eviction Avoidance
- HomeSafe Georgia (877) 519-4443 - temporary mortgage assistance for Georgia homeowners
- Get Help with your utility bills
- GA Energy Assistance Program (EAP) pays for some home heating and cooling costs for low-income eligible families, particularly in emergencies.
- H.E.A.T. - get assistance paying your winter heating bills.
- Georgia Community Action Association There are twenty (20) Community Action Agencies in the State of Georgia, capable of serving all 159 counties in the State. The Federal, State and local resources currently managed by Community Action Agencies in Georgia include such services as Head Start, employability services, emergency assistance, transportation, home weatherization, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and case management.
